Dendi Adisuryo as One of Indonesia's Top 100 Lawyers 2020

2020 has been so tough yet so full of blessings for us at ADCO. Following Indonesia’s Rising Stars 2020 award for Rizky Dwinanto (Partner at ADCO Law) and the NexGen Lawyers 2020 for Endah Sulastri (Associate Lawyer at ADCO Law), good news has once again come from our lawyer. Now, it comes from our Managing Partner, Dendi Adisuryo. He has been listed in the A-List: Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers 2020 by the Asia Business Law Journal.

It was a sunny morning in March 2020 when we first received the news through an email. We were informed that Dendi Adisuryo was selected to be one of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers 2020 and that this A-List was based on extensive research conducted by Asia Business Law Journal.

“The list is based on extensive research conducted, and the nominations are from in-house counsels based in Indonesia and elsewhere, as well as Indonesia-focused partners at international law firms based outside the country,” according to https://law.asia/

We have also been informed that the nominations were made by professionals at Indonesian and global companies and law firms, including East Ventures, MDI Venture, Tokopedia, Kalla Group, SMART, Saratoga Investama Sedaya, Agung Podomoro Land, Adaro Energy, Astra International, Reckitt Benckiser, Berau Coal, AXA Mandiri, Indonesia Stock Exchange, Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation, and many more.

Dendi Adisuryo is listed with his key practice areas in General Corporate and Commercial Law; M&A; Construction Law; Environment; Commercial Litigation, and Dispute Resolution. This achievement is very valuable to him since the list is thoroughly researched, independent, fair and impartial. It also reflects the collective opinions and experience of those who are best-placed to judge the quality of lawyers in Indonesia as said by Putro Harnowo from Asia Business Law Journal, who delivered this news to us.

Some famous names from top-tier law firms are also included in the list. As an A-List Lawyer, Dendi admitted that he felt very honored to be considered one of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers 2020, especially when they considered him on par with big names and legends in the Indonesian legal market. “Some of them were even my idols and role models when I was in my early years at college.” He said.
