Chairul Syam’s journey at ADCO Law began as part of the support staff as an office boy in March 2018, marking a significant transition from his previous job at a heavy equipment company. Introduced by a friend, Chairul quickly realized that ADCO Law was more than just a workplace; it was a place where a supportive environment fostered personal and professional growth.

A pivotal moment in Chairul’s journey was attending a class at ADCOllege, a legal class for non-legal staff at ADCO Law where Dendi Adisuryo spoke. Dendi became a mentor who was crucial in Chairul’s decision to pursue higher education in law. His encouragement reignited Chairul’s long-standing desire to earn a bachelor’s degree—a goal that had been postponed due to work demands.

Chairul’s choice to study law was deeply rooted in his passion for helping others. Witnessing the impact of his colleagues’ work as a lawyer strengthened his commitment to the field.

The supportive firm environment and the success of his colleagues in making a real difference in people’s lives inspired Chairul to follow in their footsteps, showcasing his unwavering commitment to higher education and helping others.

ADCO Law believes everyone deserves the same opportunity to learn and achieve personal goals. The firm wholeheartedly supported Chairul’s education to earn his bachelor’s law degree in one of the private law schools, allowing him to attend weekend classes that fit his work schedule. The firm’s support was motivational and provided essential resources, such as books and encouragement from colleagues, enabling Chairul to balance his studies, work and family responsibilities.

As he nears graduation, Chairul envisions using his degree as a tool to contribute to society. Chairul is actively involved in several pro bono programs organized by the firm to assist those in need. 

For Chairul, this degree represents more than just an academic achievement; it is a means to fulfill his enduring desire to help the underprivileged. Chairul says, “Success is the result of perseverance and belief in the journey itself, regardless of the eventual outcome.” Despite a busy schedule, Chairul finds that his greatest joy is in spending time with his two children—whether helping with homework or simply enjoying family moments.
