Seongho Suh
Seongho Suh is a seasoned international lawyer with over two decades of experience across Korea, China, and the United States. He holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from Pusan National University, Korea, an LL.M. from the University of Washington, USA, and a certificate in Banking & Finance from Queen Mary University of London, UK. Seongho is admitted to the New York Bar and is fluent in Korean, English, and Mandarin.
Before joining ADCO Law, Seongho was a partner at leading law firms in Beijing and Seoul, where he led the Korea and China practice groups. His expertise includes international trade, corporate law, M&A, intellectual property, and dispute resolution. He has handled high-profile cases, including a USD400 million commercial building project and multiple M&A transactions.

Practice Description
During his years of practice, Seongho has been involved in a wide range of deals and transactions, including:
- Recovered USD20 million through bankruptcy procedures for a major international company; handled civil and criminal lawsuits involving USD300 million in loan fraud cases for a leading financial institution; secured a USD150 million syndicated loan for a significant commercial property project.
- Managed overseas projects, including a USD100 million hotel and residential construction for a major construction and engineering company, and a USD400 million commercial building project for a global conglomerate; led project finance for a USD300 million development and facilitated the establishment of a USD30 million overseas factory for a well-known cosmetics company.
- Negotiated a USD90 million power cable supply contract with a national electric corporation; guided the establishment of a USD500 million overseas joint venture display factory for a prominent electronics manufacturer.
- Orchestrated the establishment of two overseas holding companies worth USD60 million for a chemical company and a solar energy company; led three M&A projects for an energy conglomerate and facilitated the establishment of a USD300 million VCM factory for a global chemical company; successfully handled international lawsuits for the recovery of USD40 million in hacked funds.
- Advised on several high-profile M&A transactions, including the USD80 million construction of a KOH and power plant for a chemical manufacturer, the acquisition of Chinese cosmetic companies for a major cosmetics brand, and the merger and acquisition of an overseas power plant and coal mine for a global trading company.
- Represented a major corporation in a trade infringement dispute, managing USD25 million in lawsuits for breach of license agreements and copyright recovery for a software company; led a USD540 million debt recovery lawsuit within bankruptcy procedures for an energy company.
- Provided general counsel for a significant trade investment promotion agency; handled a USD12 million contract dispute for a global trading firm; resolved a USD40 million commercial arbitration case for a large retail conglomerate; represented clients in litigation and arbitration at international arbitration centers and local courts in China.
- Advised a global automotive manufacturer on tax issues related to transfer pricing; facilitated the establishment of three joint ventures with an international automotive brand and its subsidiaries for a major automotive parts manufacturer; negotiated contracts for the overseas vaccine business for a life sciences company.
- Managed the USD60 million sale of brands and assets for a branding and marketing firm; provided general counsel for a content creation agency; handled IPO consultation for a cosmetic company.
- Successfully resolved a USD15 million contractual dispute at an international arbitration center for a network solutions company and a USD60 million contract for a global shipping company.
