Delivering Outstanding Performance, Alta Mahandara Awarded Indonesia’s Rising Stars 2023

The joining of Alta Mahandara at ADCO Law as a Partner at the close of the third quarter at the end of last year turned out to successfully bring ADCO Law to various achievements, one of which is positioning the firm in the January-February 2023 edition of the Asian Legal Business (ALB) spotlight, where Alta was selected as the 2023 Indonesia Rising Star.

Through its publication, ALB states that the recognition given to prominent Indonesian lawyers is based on an assessment of outstanding performance, widespread recognition, and favorable testimonials from clients.

Alta recently joined the firm after a decade of legal work focused on corporate, and mergers and acquisitions services. Alta holds an advocate license from the Indonesia Advocate Association (PERADI). He has been involved in a wide range of complex transactions and provided topical legal advice ranging from routines like general corporate matters, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions to more specific and specialized sectors like electricity and water utility, railways, financial technology, mining and energy, and infrastructure projects. 

Alta is known for its expertise in handling sales and purchase contracts, joint ventures, credit facilities, syndication, construction, FIDIC, and power purchase agreements. Alta has successfully led the ADCO Law team assisting PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT United Tractors, a major distributor of Komatsu heavy equipment in Indonesia, to reach a conditional share purchase agreement (PPJB/CSPA) to take over 90% of the shares of PT Stargate Pacific Resources (SPR) and PT Stargate Mineral Asia (SMA) through PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (DANUSA) .
