Intan Farhana
Intan Farhana is an empathetic young lawyer. She is experienced in assisting clients from diverse industries with numerous corporate issues related to project development, infrastructure, construction, corporate and M&A, and legal compliance. She worked as a notary assistant at a number of renowned legal consultancies in Indonesia before joining ADCO Law. She drafted and reviewed various notarial deeds, particularly those pertaining to syndicated credit agreements and the encumbrance of security. Her wealth of legal expertise has provided her with a deep grasp of clients’ needs and objectives. The difficulties she encountered actually stoked her desire to find the best solutions.

Practice Description
During her years of practice, Intan has been involved in numerous deals and transactions:
- Assisted a company operating the special economic zone in preparing Industrial Water Supply and Industrial Liquid Waste Receiving and Processing Agreement;
- Assisted a company operating the special economic zone in preparing an Electricity Sale and Purchase Agreement;
- Assisted a coal mining company with preparing legal opinions regarding domestic market obligations;
- Assisted a hospitality company in preparing a Built Operate Transfer Agreement for hotel development;
- Assisted a company in preparing a Biogas Power Plant Development Agreement; and others.
- Advised a subsidiary of a Thailand-based renewable energy company in a biogas power plant construction project with an Indonesian public agribusiness company based in Kalimantan.
- Advised the owner and operator company of one of the Special Economic Zones in East Java in executing contracts (which included utility contracts, sale and purchase agreements, and power purchase agreements) with various tenants and other relevant parties, among others, one of the largest Indonesian gold mining companies and state-owned electricity company in Indonesia.
- Advised a subsidiary of an Indonesian prominent coal mining company in its internal corporate restructuring. This particular transaction involved preparing legal analysis on various restructuring schemes and risk mitigation.
- Advised a renowned Indonesian conglomerate in the acquisition of a driving range operation at a 4-star hotel in Bandung, West Java. This project involved drafting and reviewing transactional documents (which included a convertible loan agreement, novation agreement, and shareholders agreement).
- Assisted a subsidiary of an Indonesian prominent coal mining company to undertake a legal due diligence process in the acquisition of 9 (nine) nickel mining companies owned by an Australian public nickel company
