Manuel Simbolon

Manuel Simbolon is a lawyer whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment obligations (PKPU), as well as industrial relations disputes. He has extensive experience representing clients in various dispute resolution processes before courts and arbitration forums, both at the national and international levels. In addition to acting as legal counsel, Manuel also serves as a Receiver and Administrator in bankruptcy and PKPU proceedings. In his practice, Manuel has assisted clients from a wide range of industry sectors, including banking
and finance, insurance particularly life insurance, telecommunications, oil and gas, maritime, and infrastructure, adopting a strategic approach that is strongly oriented toward clients’ commercial
interests.

Manuel is a legal practitioner with more than a decade of experience. Prior to joining ADCO Law, he served as a Litigation Manager at a multinational insurance company and practiced at several leading law firms in Jakarta, providing him with a comprehensive perspective from both law firm and corporate standpoints.

Manuel earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Brawijaya University and his Master of Laws degree from the University of Indonesia. He is an active member of PERADI and AAI, and the Indonesian Association of Receivers and Administrators (AKPI).

Represented an Indonesian company managing an integrated area consisting of industrial estates, multifunctional public ports, and residential cities in a multi-million dollar dispute with a contractor before the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration.
Represented clients as Administrator (Pengurus) in the PKPU proceedings of PT Tribara Karya before the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.
Represented clients as Administrator (Pengurus) in the PKPU proceedings of PT Tebo Indah and PT Pratama Agro Sawit before the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.
Represented clients as Receiver (Curator) in the bankruptcy proceedings of PT Bintang Inti Karya before the Commercial Court at the Surabaya District Court.
