Joseph Wong, with 40 years of international business experience. He has been working and resided in Hong Kong, the USA, Japan, China, and now Indonesia, and he obtained his MBA and BSc degree (Engineering) at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been working for major US companies like Amoco Oil, BP Solar, GSC (PE), Camper & Nicholson (UK) Marina, and Fountain Group as their CEO/Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region.
He has extensive experience in sales & marketing, distribution, new factory/business operation, and set up in overseas countries. He is well networked in different industries, academics, and government agencies in Indonesia.
China, as one of the largest investors in Indonesia, is quickly cementing its position as a key player in Indonesia’s economic development by financing over 1,000 projects, including factory construction projects, within just one year. This impressive growth in investment is a testament to the strong relationship between the two countries. This value is consistent with the realization of China’s investment in Indonesia, which continues to increase every year.
The continuity of the relationship is evidenced by the commitment of both governments regarding bilateral trade and investment cooperation as part of the efforts to build a community with a shared future. China and Indonesia will continue their partnership to jointly address the global risks and challenges in politics, economy, humanity, and maritime affairs, to seek solidarity and cooperation.
ADCO Law has expanded its global reach through the presence of the Hong Kong-China Desk. We support businesses to process commodities domestically in order to multiply the value of Indonesia’s exports, as well as to create jobs. This includes working together for greater synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
We are committed to strengthening our synergy as an intermediary between government and businesses through the presence of our Hong Kong-China Desk in order to establish a peaceful, safe, secure, prosperous, beautiful, and amicable home in the region.
