ADCO Law Expanding into Business Competition & Anti-Trust Practice Areas

ADCO Talks - Business Competition

ADCO Law expands its corporate practice with the appointment of Danil Pratama as Mid-Associate to lead the Competition Law & Anti-Trust Team. The practice area was launched on ADCO Talks (31/3), a webinar discussing the current updates on the regulatory framework related to competition law & anti-trust, where Mrs. Sukarmi, Former Member Commissioner of Indonesia Competition Commission (Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha, “KPPU”) was invited as one of the panelists.

“We are delighted to welcome Danil Pratama to join us as our Mid-Associate. He has extensive experience in investigating monopolistic practices and unfair business competition. With his experience, He will be an excellent fit for our team and will enhance our practice areas. The reason we are expanding into the competition law & anti-trust practice area is to fulfill the market demand, and to assist clients in giving notification to KPPU after a corporate action.” said Dendi Adisuryo, Managing Partner of ADCO Law.

Danil Pratama holds a law degree from Padjadjaran University. Prior to joining ADCO Law, he was an anti-trust investigator at KPPU, the only institution dealing with competition law in Indonesia, where Danil several times led investigations into alleged violations of Law Number 5 the Year 1999 Related to Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition. He is very proficient with government regulations concerning business competition related to Competition Policy in Indonesia and is experienced in handling predatory pricing cases, monopolistic practice cases and rigging tenders. Previously, he had also joined several law firms as an associate helping clients navigate the business & investment environment in Indonesia

“I am contented to join ADCO, a law firm that has gained its reputation as a leading firm in the natural resources and energy sector. I would like to further advance and assist the firm’s clients in navigating their business activities away from potential issues related to antitrust & competition law” commented Danil on his move.
