ADCO Law Expands Its Legal Practice by Appointing Adolf Martua Panggabean as New Partner for the Intellectual Property Practice Area

Jakarta, May 8, 2024 – ADCO Law, a proud law firm member of Alliott Global Alliance, proudly announces the presence of Adolf Martua Panggabean as a new partner to lead the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Area at the firm. Adolf has more than two decades of extensive experience as an external and in-house legal counsel. As an external counsel, Adolf is well-versed in handling various clients’ needs related to Intellectual property registration in Indonesia, including the protection of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and industrial designs. He also represents clients in intellectual property disputes, both in civil and criminal proceedings.
In addition to his experience in the IP field, Adolf has also worked as a senior in-house legal counsel for a prominent lifestyle retail company in Indonesia, where he successfully negotiated as well as managed the entry of new businesses for several principals of large international brands into Indonesia. During his time there, he also handled personal data protection work for some of the principals.

Adolf obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Indonesia as well as Master of Laws degree from Pelita Harapan University. He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association and the Indonesian Intellectual Property Consultants Association. Adolf has also completed specialized training related to domain name disputes in Indonesia.
