ADCO Law Has Successfully Assisted PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS) in the Binding Land Sale and Purchase Agreement with Xinyi Glass Holdings Ltd

(Jakarta, 25/8/2022) ADCO Law has successfully assisted PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS), one of the leading JIIPE Industrial Estate Developers in Gresik, for the agreement that has been agreed upon and signed with XINYI, a leading manufacturer of glass products. The firm is represented by the team of the Project & Development Practice Area: Adimas Wicaksono, Mid-Associate, and Garry Kuswandi and Gabriela Riwu Kore, Junior Associates, and led by Dendi Adisuryo, Partner.

Pursuant to the Agreement, BKMS has agreed to sell, and XINYI has agreed to purchase a large lot of industrial land for the construction of the XINYI Glass production plant in the JIIPE Special Economic Zone (SEZ JIIPE). XINYI also signed another agreement with BKMS for the cooperation to provide various utilities, including electricity, water, natural gas, sewage treatment, telecommunications and internet facilities, and other infrastructure and facilities to support the construction and operation of XINYI’s glass production facilities in the SEZ JIIPE.

with its overseas investment, XINYI, as a leading manufacturer of glass products e.g., glass, energy-saving e-glass, float glass, and other glass products at its production complexes in the People’s Republic of China, believes that the new glass production capacity to be constructed in JIIPE is a major strategic step for the group to diversify its production base and supply the fast-growing demand for glass products in Indonesia and in other countries overseas.
